BEADWORK & BRACELETS / MAKE WITH A PLAN

Two rows, one pickup. A pattern to follow.

A single-drop, flat even-count chart. Enter the total beads in the initial two-row pickup, not the number of beads added on each later row.

    Two rows, one pickup

Rows 1 and 2 interleave along the foundation. A foundation of 16 beads creates 8 beads in each working row.

    Offset-aware conversion

Photo colors are sampled at actual bead centers. The diagram and word chart use the same staggered layout.

    From chart to supplies

Count every structural bead, including the foundation and background. Keep the editable JSON, then export a PDF, PNG, word chart or CSV.

    How to use this tool

    01

    Choose the structure

A single-drop, flat even-count chart. Enter the total beads in the initial two-row pickup, not the number of beads added on each later row.

    02

    Refine the motif

Set your own color codes, then draw or convert an image. Use numbered symbols, coordinate edits and row highlighting to check the design.

    03

    Follow the working order

Read the construction notes and word chart. Measure a sample before relying on size estimates; add your own finishing and closure allowances.

      Frequently asked questions

      Does this support odd-count peyote?

This version supports flat, single-drop even-count peyote. Odd-count turns, two-drop patterns and tubular construction are not included. The foundation field rejects odd counts.

Should I string rows 1 and 2 separately?

No. Follow the combined foundation pickup in the notes. In this chart, row 2 occupies odd-numbered columns and row 1 occupies even-numbered columns. Row 3 then works from right to left.

Are these official brand color codes?

No. The starter colors are illustrative. Enter your own code, name and hex reference for each color. Screen matching is approximate; confirm your beads or thread against a physical sample.

Does the size estimate include finishing?

No. It uses the horizontal and vertical pitch you enter. Thread tension, bead variation, clasps, ties and edge treatments are separate. For cuffs, the unwrapped path is not a guaranteed inside wrist measurement.

Can I reopen the exported files?

JSON preserves the editable chart. PNG, PDF, CSV and word charts are exports, not project files. Your browser draft is local to this device; save JSON before clearing browser data.
