Row 1 is at the top. F/B marks are complete knots, each made of two half-hitches.

BEADWORK & BRACELETS / MAKE WITH A PLAN
This is a two-color Alpha substitution chart. The background comes from a leading strand; the motif comes from the base strands.
Each cell is a double half-hitch knot. F means forward; B means backward. The word chart names the working strand.
Use one motif-color base strand per column, plus a long background strand. The knotting direction reverses each row.
Count complete knots by color, not floss length. Keep the editable JSON, then export a PDF, PNG, word chart or CSV.

Set your own color codes, then draw or convert an image. Use numbered symbols, coordinate edits and row highlighting to check the design.
Read the construction notes and word chart. Measure a sample before relying on size estimates; add your own finishing and closure allowances.
No. It creates two-color Alpha patterns worked across base strands. Diagonal normal patterns, multicolor Alpha joins and straight-edge FB/BF variants are not supported.
For a motif cell, the base strand knots around the leading strand. On a left-to-right row this is a backward knot; on a right-to-left row it is a forward knot. Background cells use the leading strand instead.
No. The starter colors are illustrative. Enter your own code, name and hex reference for each color. Screen matching is approximate; confirm your beads or thread against a physical sample.
No. It uses the horizontal and vertical pitch you enter. Thread tension, bead variation, clasps, ties and edge treatments are separate. For cuffs, the unwrapped path is not a guaranteed inside wrist measurement.
JSON preserves the editable chart. PNG, PDF, CSV and word charts are exports, not project files. Your browser draft is local to this device; save JSON before clearing browser data.
