PIXEL & BRICK ART / FROM IMAGE TO GRID
Each occupied stud uses one square 1×1 plate, part 3024. Choose from 32 catalog-checked colors, then divide your image into manageable panels.
The parts list counts 3024 face plates only. Clear positions have no face piece. Backing plates, connectors, frame and mounting hardware are separate.
Choose only the colors you plan to buy or already own. The reference combines LDraw screen colors with historical part-color records; it does not track live stock.
Enter your panel dimensions. The assembly map, global coordinates and numbered PDF pages all follow the same top-left origin.
Upload a cropped photo, choose columns and rows, and decide whether to keep transparent areas. Preserve proportions adjusts the row count.
Select the colors you can source, set a color limit, and generate the mosaic. Check details before committing to a large parts order.
Save the project, read the parts list, and follow the numbered panels from the top left. Plan the backing and mounting separately.
This version uses one square 1×1 plate (3024) per occupied stud, in a single face layer. It does not optimize larger plates, round tiles, mixed heights or 3D structures.
The 32-color subset was checked against historical 3024 catalog records. Availability, price and mold variants can change. Verify your chosen colors and element IDs before ordering.
No. The CSV labels the code system explicitly. Color names and example LEGO element IDs are included for checking; no marketplace order is submitted.
The tool reports occupied planning panels and their positions. Panels may be partial. It does not claim that each panel corresponds to a purchasable baseplate or include backing pieces in the face-part count.
No. It is a reference chart with symbols and coordinates. The displayed footprint uses an 8 mm stud pitch and excludes borders and framing.
