BEADWORK & BRACELETS / MAKE WITH A PLAN

An even foundation ring. A pattern to follow.

An unwrapped tubular peyote chart for pony beads. Set an even foundation count, then follow the moving round start and step-up instructions.

    An even foundation ring

Working rounds 1 and 2 share the initial ring. Each later round adds half as many beads as the foundation count.

    A marked round start

The word chart follows the stitch around the cuff and identifies the first bead to step through at the end of each round.

    From chart to supplies

Count every structural bead, including the foundation and background. Keep the editable JSON, then export a PDF, PNG, word chart or CSV.

    How to use this tool

    01

    Choose the structure

    02

    Refine the motif

Set your own color codes, then draw or convert an image. Use numbered symbols, coordinate edits and row highlighting to check the design.

    03

    Follow the working order

Read the construction notes and word chart. Measure a sample before relying on size estimates; add your own finishing and closure allowances.

      Frequently asked questions

Does this make X-base or 3D cuffs?

This tool makes a single-drop, even-count tubular peyote (multi-stitch) cuff chart. X-base, 3D cuffs and odd-count spirals use different structures and are not generated.

How do I read across the chart seam?

Column 1 sits beside the last column when the cuff closes. The starting column advances each round, so follow the printed pickup order and step up through the first newly added bead.

Are these official brand color codes?

No. The starter colors are illustrative. Enter your own code, name and hex reference for each color. Screen matching is approximate; confirm your beads or thread against a physical sample.

Does the size estimate include finishing?

No. It uses the horizontal and vertical pitch you enter. Thread tension, bead variation, clasps, ties and edge treatments are separate. For cuffs, the unwrapped path is not a guaranteed inside wrist measurement.

Can I reopen the exported files?

JSON preserves the editable chart. PNG, PDF, CSV and word charts are exports, not project files. Your browser draft is local to this device; save JSON before clearing browser data.
